Greggs appoints new position at Treforest bakery
Leading high-street bakers Greggs has appointed a retail development manager in a newly-created role to head up the sales support team at the Treforest bakery.
Chris Adamson, 35 from Bristol, joins from Bakers Oven, a sister company of Greggs, where he spent eight years as sales manager, covering shops across the south of England.
Chris will provide support to the retail operation for all 120 Greggs shops in Wales and the South West, all of which are supplied by the Treforest bakery.
Chris's appointment comes as Greggs continues its expansion drive in the region with eight new shops opening across South Wales and the West in the last six months alone.
Commenting on his new appointment, Chris said:
"I'm looking forward to joining the team at Treforest and quite literally getting my teeth into all the new products and projects! Greggs is in a period of rapid expansion which is exciting for the division. Its going to be a new and exciting challenge, and Im looking forward to learning more about how Greggs operates."
